STF Farm Rules
Below is the list of STF barn rules. If you can not follow these rules you will be asked to leave the farm. These rules will be strictly enforced for everyone well being and the horses safety.
Keep yourself and other horses away from the stallions, even when stallions are being ridden.
Board is due on the 1st of the month, no exceptions
Checks for the farrier are due at the time of service. If you do not leave a check, your horse will not get done.
Do not pet or handle horses that do not belong to you at anytime unless you are asked to or its an emergency
Do not feed or give treats to horses that do not belong to you – no exceptions!
Do not feed horses anything out of the feed room at any time.
Tack your horse in designated areas
Tie your horses properly and safely at all times
Proper attire must be worn when in barn. No open toe shoes, etc.
Do NOT Block barn area/entrance with horses, vehicles or trailers
Park in designated areas and do not block other vehicles in
Do not park in the yard
Anyone riding a horse, must wear a helmet while mounted
Jumping is done only in lesson or while being supervised for safety reasons
Please do not tack up in trainer or the stallion tack up area at any time. There are two other set of cross ties that are for boarding horses.
No smoking in the barn
Do not call after business hours unless emergency
Do not use tack that does not belong to you
Do not use sprays/meds/creams/shampoos that do not belong to you or you do not have permission to use.
Put horses back where you got them from. If they were in the stall, put them back in the stall once they are done. If they were turned out, put them back in the turn out.
Do not put horses away hot or sweaty
Please be respectful of the privacy of those who live at the farm. We enjoy company, but we also enjoy the small amount of private time we have. This is our home as well as our farm, please respect that.
Any unsafe behavior, unfriendliness or overall rudeness will not be tolerated. This is a family atmosphere.
STF has the right to ask anyone to vacate the property at any time
When STF personnel is away at shows, all the rules above STILL apply
