Spindle Top Farms offers a few select horses for sale each year.  Please take a look at what we have to offer and feel free to call us with any questions you may have.  Click on the names of the horses for additional information on each prospect as I list very detailed information about each, their bloodlines and bloodline history, estimate suitability, performance, attitude, etc.  We are not a "horse dealer" and only represent quality horses we are proud of.

Ghiri - $13,500

2006 registered BWP gelding.  Lovely colt, placed 6th in the nation with the BWP.  Super conformation and movement.  Great pedigree.  Will mature to 16.3-17+.  Very large boy with a puppy dog attitude.  Warning, you cant keep him off of you!  He loves attention.  Were still working on the "my space, your space" scenario.  See his page for more details.  I would accept payments on this horse with 50% down and reasonable monthly installments.

Update 4/08 - We have raised Ghiri price recently.  He is now 2 yrs old and is turning into a very impressive young boy.  He is very well handled and will be a ease to start.  He accepts the saddle and tack now and is going to be a fun one to put into the ring.  After he finished he current (one of many) growth spurts, I will get new pictures of him.  He is going to be a stunning horse when he finally matures!!!

Viktoria - $20,000 obo to show home

Viktoria is a superbly bred SWB mare with the "who's who" of pedigree.  She is sired by Rubignon that comes from the superior dressage lines of Rubinstein and Donnerhall.  Her dam line is from some of the top Swedish stallions Vivaldi and Indus.  She is a beautiful filly with the typical Rubinstein refined head.  She stands 16h tall and is of med bone and will mature to a large/older body type.  This is a filly to be very proud to own.  Breed her, show her or both.

2/8/08 - Viktoria is currently being started under saddle and her price will be changing soon to reflect this.

DUSTY - 2003 TB Gelding.  15.2h Bay - $6500

Dusty came to us as a potential polocrosse horse, but unfortunately does not like the horses banging into him so we started him over fences and were VERY impressed on how he went.  He would make a super pony club mount or a serious child who wants a bunch of ribbons.  We have original JC papers and he is lip tatooed.  Great mind, sound, great feet, no issues.  Super horse with a good start in his training career.

Update 10-17-07 - This filly is coming along very well under saddle now.  We will be breeding her to GRF Sundance for a 3/4 Cleveland Cross for 2009.

Whirlwind - 2006 filly - 3/4 Cleveland, 1/4 TB. - Sired by Sundance out of Idlehour Mirage.  Correct and nice floaty movements.  $15,000

Update 4/08 - This is a super filly!  What a smart girl.  She is substantial yet elastic mover.  We have high hopes for her in the future.  The 3/4 crosses are super athletes and I am very impressed with them.  She will be started under saddle in early 2009.

TEMPEST -2006 filly - 1/2 Cleveland Bay, 1/4 Percharon, 1/2 Thoroughbred.  Sired by GRF Sundance out of a Percharon x TB mare.  This filly is very large!  She is 16.1+h as a yearling with substantial bone.  Even with her size, she is very pretty elegant.  You have to see her to appreciate her.  Will mature to over 17h.  $7000

Monsoon- 2007 Filly - 1/2 Cleveland bay, 1/4 Percharon, 1/2 Thoroughbred.  Another very large filly!  Sired by GRF Sundance and full sister to Tempest.  Big mover and lots of substance.  Will mature over 17h!   Has lots of knee action and powerful hind end.  Will be very eye catching!!!  This filly is very sweet and loves to be handled.  She would rather be with people than other horses.   $5000
